13th ESA Training Course on Earth Observation 2023 in Osijek, Croatia.
From the 18th-22th September, I have a great opportunity to participate at the 13th ESA TRANING COURSE ON EARTH OBSERVATION in Osijek, Croatia at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek!
It was a long, knowledgeable and incredible week course on Earth Observation jointly organized by the European Space Agency – ESA and the Croatia Ministry of Science and Education at FERIT. 🌍📡
During this rich training on Earth Observation, We have the opportunity to learn tools on land cover mapping, remote sensing data, Synthetic Aperture Radar, classification Algorithms and Accuracy, Flooding mapping using Radar imagery, Automated Radiative transfer Models Operator (ARTMO), Spectral Indices toolbox💻, Principles of Imagery Spectroscopy, just to mention a few.
It was exciting and at the same time challenging to accumulate all these knowledge in 5 days. But i am grateful for this opportunity. Hence, it was not only a training program, but an opportunity to meet other researchers from different fields and universities, therefore the best place to widen our network 🌐
I can’t wait to apply what I’ve learned to contribute to the field of Earth Observation and contributing in advancing management of environmental hazards such as Land Subsidence, Flooding and others. 🌟
